TJ Tyres & Auto Launch Giveaway 2026: Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the TJ Tyres & Auto Launch Giveaway 2026 (the Giveaway). By entering, you agree to be bound by them.

1. Promoter

1. The promoter is TJ Tyres & Auto Pty Ltd (ACN 699 754 535, ABN 27 699 754 535), of 3/245 Leitchs Road, Brendale QLD 4500 (the Promoter).

2. Who can enter

1. Entry is open to Queensland residents aged 18 years or older.
2. Employees and contractors of the Promoter, and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter. Immediate family means a spouse or partner, parent, child, sibling or grandparent.
3. The Promoter may ask any entrant or winner for proof of age, identity and Queensland residency. An entrant who can't provide it may be disqualified.

3. Entry period

1. The Giveaway opens at 12:00am AEST on Wednesday 7 October 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on Sunday 22 November 2026 (the Entry Period).
2. Entries received outside the Entry Period are not valid. The time of entry is taken as the time the entry is received in the Promoter's database.

4. How to enter

1. To enter, complete the entry form on the Giveaway page at tjtyresandauto.com.au (or via the Promoter's QR code) with the requested details, confirm your eligibility, accept these terms and conditions, and submit the form.
2. Entry is free. No purchase is necessary, and entering does not require you to buy anything or accept a quote.
3. Limit of one entry per person. If a person submits more than one entry, only their first valid entry will count.
4. Entries must be made personally. Entries made through automated means, bulk entry, third-party entry services, or using false details are invalid.
5. The Promoter isn't responsible for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete or not received because of technical problems.

5. Prizes

There are 9 prizes, with a total prize pool of up to $4,500 including GST.

1. Grand prize. The winner may choose four passenger, SUV, 4WD or light commercial tyres from the brands and sizes the Promoter stocks or can source through its suppliers, subject to availability, to a maximum total retail value of $3,000 including GST, supplied, fitted and balanced, including new valves and transferring the vehicle's existing tyre pressure monitoring (TPMS) sensors where fitted. The tyres must be a size and specification that is suitable and legal for the winner's vehicle, as determined by the Promoter. All four tyres must be fitted to one vehicle in a single visit. The prize does not include wheels, wheel alignment, replacement TPMS sensors or any other parts or services unless the winner pays for them separately. Any unused value is forfeited.
2. Already bought tyres (grand prize refund option). If the grand prize winner purchased tyres that were supplied and fitted by the Promoter between 12:00am AEST on Wednesday 7 October 2026 and 11:59pm AEST on Sunday 22 November 2026, the winner may choose to receive a refund of the amount they paid for up to four of those tyres and their fitting (including balancing, valves and TPMS sensor transfer charged on that invoice), up to a maximum of $3,000 including GST, instead of the grand prize. The invoice must be in the winner's name and paid in full. The refund does not cover wheels, wheel alignment, replacement TPMS sensors or any other parts or services. The refund will be paid to the original payment method or by bank transfer to an account in the winner's name within 14 days of the winner accepting the refund option. The winner may choose either the grand prize or the refund, not both, and any difference between the refund amount and $3,000 is forfeited.
3. Second prize. Each $250 store credit may be used towards tyres, wheels, vehicle servicing, or 4WD and American truck parts and fitment supplied by the Promoter. The credit may be used across more than one visit, and any unused balance at the end of the redemption period is forfeited.
4. Third prize. Each prize is one standard wheel alignment for one passenger, 4WD, American truck or light commercial vehicle, up to a retail value of $150 including GST. It does not include parts, adjustment kits, or extra labour needed because of worn, seized or damaged components. The Promoter will advise the winner of any extra cost before starting work, and the winner may choose whether to proceed.
5. Except for the refund option in clause 5.2, prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
6. If a prize or any part of it becomes unavailable, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value, subject to any written directions from the relevant regulator.

6. The draw

1. The draw will be held at 10:00am AEST on Monday 23 November 2026 by the Promoter in Brisbane, Queensland, using a random electronic selection process in which every valid entry has an equal chance of being drawn.
2. Prizes will be drawn in the following order: the grand prize first, then the three second prizes, then the five third prizes. Each entrant can win only one prize.
3. The first valid entry drawn for each prize will win that prize, subject to these terms and conditions.

7. Notifying and publishing winners

1. Winners will be notified by phone and email within two business days of the draw, using the contact details provided at entry.
2. Winners must claim their prize by contacting the Promoter by 5:00pm AEST on Monday 30 November 2026. The grand prize winner must also tell the Promoter by that time whether they choose the grand prize or the refund option in clause 5.2.
3. The names of winners (first name, last initial and suburb) will be published on the Promoter's website and social media pages by Monday 7 December 2026.

8. Unclaimed prizes and redraw

1. If a prize is not claimed by 5:00pm AEST on Monday 30 November 2026, or a winner is found to be ineligible, that prize will be forfeited and redrawn at 10:00am AEST on Wednesday 2 December 2026 in the same way as the original draw.
2. Redraw winners will be notified by phone and email within two business days of the redraw and must claim their prize by 5:00pm AEST on Wednesday 9 December 2026. Their names will be published in the same way as clause 7.3 by Monday 14 December 2026. If the grand prize is redrawn, the refund option in clause 5.2 applies to the redraw winner in the same way.

9. Redeeming prizes

1. Prizes are redeemed in store at 3/245 Leitchs Road, Brendale QLD 4500, by appointment.
2. All prizes must be redeemed by 5:00pm AEST on Wednesday 30 June 2027. Any prize or credit not redeemed by that date is forfeited.
3. Winners must present photo ID matching their entry details when redeeming a prize.

10. Privacy

1. The Promoter collects entrants' personal information to run the Giveaway, including conducting the draw, contacting and publishing winners, and awarding prizes. If you don't provide the requested information, you can't enter.
2. Entrant details are stored in the Promoter's customer management system. The Promoter will only send marketing messages to entrants who have opted in to receive them, and entrants can unsubscribe at any time.
3. The Promoter does not sell entrants' personal information.
4. Entrants may request access to or correction of their personal information by contacting the Promoter using the details in clause 1.2. More information is in the Promoter's privacy policy at tjtyresandauto.com.au/policies/privacy-policy.

11. General

1. The Promoter may disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, breaches these terms and conditions, or acts in a fraudulent or disruptive way.
2. If the Giveaway can't run as planned because of fraud, technical failure or any other cause beyond the Promoter's reasonable control, the Promoter may modify, suspend or cancel it, subject to any directions from the relevant regulator.
3. Nothing in these terms and conditions limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage arising from entering the Giveaway or accepting or using a prize, except for liability that cannot be excluded by law.
4. Winners are responsible for any tax implications of receiving a prize and should seek their own advice if needed.
5. This Giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram or Meta. Entrants provide their information to the Promoter, not to those platforms.
6. Brand and product images used to promote the Giveaway are for illustration only.
7. The Promoter will keep records of the Giveaway, including entries and draw results, as required by law.
8. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland.
